Q2: Is it permissible to use a ring in the shape of a band on the occasion of marriage?
A2: It is not permissible to wear a ring on the occasion of marriage; because of the imitation of the disbelievers in their customs; for that was not a symbol for Muslims in marriage, but rather it is a custom of the disbelievers in marriage, and then the weak in
faith and the ignorant among the Muslims imitated them in it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
