The emission of semen in a stream due to desire necessitates the full ritual bath
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of the fatwa number (11112)
Q1: What is the ruling on the emission of a single drop of semen due to desire? Is that considered major ritual impurity from which the person must perform the full ritual bath, or is it obligatory for him to perform the ablution for prayer? Knowing that the emission of this drop did not occur through sexual intercourse?
A1: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And after: If semen is emitted in a stream due to desire, the full ritual bath is obligatory, even if what is emitted is a single drop and without sexual intercourse. The ablution for prayer is not sufficient; rather, it is obligatory for him to perform the full ritual bath for major ritual impurity. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
