Q: About four years ago, an accident happened to me that confined me to bed for three months, and for about two months I was unable to sit; this caused me to pray on my back without performing wudu'. Is this permissible?
A: If the situation is as described, there is no blame on you, and your prayer is valid. Allah the Exalted said:[At-Taghabun 64:16] If you were using tayammum, then if you were not using tayammum, you must repeat the prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
