Q2: If my mother is elderly and our region is cold, so she cannot perform wudu, especially for the Fajr prayer, is tayammum permissible for her?
And when she performs tayammum, she believes that her prayer is incomplete; therefore, she repeats it after the sun rises.
A2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions. And after: It is obligatory to use water for purification in winter if one has a means to warm the water, and tayammum is not valid in this case. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
