Going to one who claims to know the location of a missing person merely by reciting the Qur'an and hadiths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question 19 from Fatwa No. ( 6914 ):
Q19: You stated in a previous question of mine, the answer to which is No. (30) in Fatwa No. (6505) dated 19/12/1403 AH, page (4): that going to the fortune-teller is not permissible because he is a soothsayer. I would like to point out here that the people we go to are known for their adherence to the teachings of the pure religion, and they do not recite anything other than the Qur'an and the noble hadiths in such matters as I mentioned in my question. What is the ruling on our going to them?
A19: Merely reciting the Qur'an and hadiths does not reveal the location of a missing person, nor does it bring them back. Whoever goes to one who claims to know the location of a missing person merely by reciting the Qur'an and hadiths is seeking help from a soothsayer and a deceiver, even if he claims to be a righteous person who holds fast to the religion. They may appear to recite the Qur'an and the noble hadith to mislead and confuse, but in reality, they are among the soothsayers and diviners. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
