Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And the clouds laden with water)
Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Dhariyat: 2] : The intended meaning is: the clouds, which carry water in a laden state,Meaning: heavy and loaded,Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said: [Surat al-Ra'd: 12] , so they are heavy, loaded with great waters -seas- and therefore when you look at the earth, you find the earth has rivers by the permission of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
Therefore: The scattering winds: the winds,And the clouds: the clouds, and the connection between them is apparent; because the winds are what stir up the clouds, and also they are what fertilize the clouds with water,Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Hijr: 22] .
Allah the Exalted said:
And the clouds laden with water
فَالْحَامِلاتِ وِقْراًIt is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.
هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفاً وَطَمَعاً وَيُنْشِئُ السَّحَابَ الثِّقَالَTherefore: The scattering winds: the winds,And the clouds: the clouds, and the connection between them is apparent; because the winds are what stir up the clouds, and also they are what fertilize the clouds with water,Allah the Exalted said:
