The Shaykh : [Al-Waqi'ah 56:51-56].
We seek refuge in Allah from this provision.
in your deeds, to their messengers; so they are astray in their deeds and deny the news. [Al-Waqi'ah 56:52] And this tree, may Allah protect us, is a tree with a foul smell, a foul taste, and a repulsive appearance. Allah the Exalted said in describing this tree: [As-Saffat 37:65] They eat this by force, not out of pleasure or desire, and yet they fill their bellies with it, compelled to do so. Then they become intensely thirsty, and when they are thirsty, water does not come to them easily; rather, they cry out for help, ask, and persist. [Al-Kahf 18:29] We ask Allah for well-being, [Al-Kahf 18:29] because of its intense heat, when they bring it close to their faces to drink from it, it scalds their faces, may Allah protect us from its intense heat.
And here He says:[Al-Waqi'ah 56:53-55]; al-Haym are thirsty camels, and as we know, camels drink a lot of water, especially when they are thirsty.
This which Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, mentioned regarding these luxurious people in this world who persist in disbelief and denial, if a person reflects upon it, it necessitates that every rational person flee from the state of these people as one flees from a lion, and avoid all luxury and comfort that leads to disbelief and denial.
(51) Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers, (52) Will be eating from trees of zaqqum (53) And filling with it your bellies (54) And drinking on top of it from scalding water (55) And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels. (56) That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.
We seek refuge in Allah from this provision.
