. What is the meaning of this hadith? Is eating after the three days forbidden or not?

The Shaykh : This hadith has a cause, which is that the people were struck by a famine, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade them from storing the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days. In the following year, the people’s situation improved, and the famine ended. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I used to forbid you from storing [the meat] for more than three days because of the famine—meaning the hunger that struck you—so store what you wish and eat what you wish كنت نهيتكم عن الادخار فوق ثلاث من أجل الدافة - يعني التي دفت وهي الجوع - فادخروا ما شئتم وكلوا ما شئتم
. Yes.
