The questioner : The questioner says: I suffer from many social problems due to my husband's stubbornness and his denial of my rights, and the cause is his family, as my husband forces me to live with them and he has a strong inclination toward his family, so everything belongs to his family and I have no right to discuss any matter. This inclination is due to his father and mother, as his mother is a domineering woman. What must I do in this problem?
The Shaykh : It is obligatory for you to be patient and to seek reward from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), for Allah the Exalted is with the patient. And Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):[Hud 11:49] So if you are mindful of Allah, fulfilling the right of Allah and the right of the husband as required, and you are patient with the harshness of your husband and the harshness of his family, then know that the outcome is for you. So be patient and seek reward. In my opinion, if you are patient and seek reward, if I do not say in my certainty, Allah will incline the hearts of your husband and his family to look at you with mercy. But if you refuse except that your right be fully met and you are always blaming the husband, then the matters will remain as they are or increase. So my advice to you is to be patient and seek reward from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and to believe that the outcome is for the righteous.
