Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :" And my Lord, my God, has never ceased to possess power *** and will, and following them are two attributes
Knowledge with the attribute of life "
These are four: life, knowledge, will, and power. " *** the attributes of the Creator, the Bestower
And through them the act is completed; without them *** no act is completed, by clear proof "

Correct, it is not possible for the act of an actor to be completed except with these four attributes, which are: life, knowledge, will, and power. So the dead one does not act, correct? And the ignorant one does not act. If a person came to us and said, "I want to repair a recorder for you now, I will make a recorder for you," but he is ignorant, has not studied, and has not tried, is it possible for him to produce it?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Why?
The student : Because of his ignorance.

The Shaykh : Because of his ignorance. Now, the will, which is the will (mashiyah), also, if a person is alive, knowledgeable, and capable, but does not will to make this recorder, is it possible for it to exist? No. Now, a person is alive, knowledgeable, and willing, but he is not capable; he is paralyzed, meaning this man studied and learned how to make it and wanted to make it, but he is paralyzed, he cannot, is it possible for the product to exist? It does not exist. So when these four attributes are complete: life, knowledge, will, and power, the effect must exist.
Has Allah (Mighty and Majestic) ever lost life on any day?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Lost knowledge?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Will, power? Never. So if these attributes are complete in the case of Allah, why does the effect not exist? It must exist. For this reason, he said:
" And through them the act is completed; without them *** no act is completed, by clear proof
So for what reason "
If the causes of the act have been completed.
" So for what reason has His act been delayed *** When the cause has been completed with its pillars
It was not impossible for Him to act *** Rather, the act of Allah has always been possible "
