Allah the Exalted said: << He who had knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you. So when he saw it settled with him, he said: This is from the bounty

But "
Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture
[An-Naml 27:40]
that is, the one who was brought down, and he was Asaf ibn Barkhiya, who was a close friend and knew the Greatest Name of Allah, by which, if he called, he would be answered "
....
The student: Restricted

The Shaykh : He called ... the Greatest Name of Allah, which is known that if he called by it, He would answer. But it is possible that if this man who had knowledge of the Book called by it, meaning: that this man had tested it and knew that if he called upon Allah the Exalted by this name, He would answer him.
So here it is more appropriate to say: if he called by it, He would answer, because this man had knowledge of the Book and knew, or had tested, that if he called by this name, He would answer.
And this is also not necessarily that this man who had knowledge of the Book intended to call upon Allah Blessed and Exalted by His Greatest Name; rather, we say: this man was given by Allah the Exalted knowledge of the revealed Book, and there is no doubt that the knowledgeable person knows the tools and formulas that are closer to being answered, whether by the Greatest Name of Allah or otherwise.
He says: "
I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.
[An-Naml 27:40]
If you look at it at something "
Allah is Greater, which is faster? The second one, this is like the blink of an eye.
I will bring it to you before
[An-Naml 27:40]
That is, it returns
to you your glance إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ
that is, your glance.
So for example, if you look like this in front of you, if I say like this with extreme speed, it is as if Subhan Allah al-Azim comes from Yemen to Sham with this great speed, because it comes by the command of Allah the Exalted, and Allah the Exalted
His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
[Yasin:82],
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
[Al-Qamar:50].
So Allah Blessed and Exalted, if He answers the caller, does not need a duration or a delay, but even so, Allah Blessed and Exalted decrees matters by their causes. A person may call for a sick person to be healed by Allah the Exalted, but will he be healed like the blink of an eye? No. There are causes that are decreed, but the causes are formed immediately if Allah Blessed and Exalted wills to answer, even though Allah is able to cure this sick person in an instant, just as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was sometimes brought a sick person, and he would call for him and he would be healed in an instant. Ali ibn Abi Talib was brought to him at Khaybar while complaining of his eye, so he spat in it and called for him, and it was cured as if there had been no pain in it at that moment.
So Allah Blessed and Exalted is able to do everything, but the delay of a thing does not indicate that Allah the Exalted is not able to cure it immediately, but it indicates that Allah is Wise and decrees matters by their causes, even the creation of the heavens and the earth in six days, which we mentioned previously that it was for two benefits:
First: what is well-known among the scholars that Allah the Exalted made it in six days so that the servants would know to be deliberate in matters, and that the important thing is to perfect the matter, not to hasten in it.
And another thing: that the creation of these things requires causes and components that interact and end in perfection, so this is why it became in six days.
Here he said: "
before your glance returns to you
[An-Naml 27:40]
So he said to him: Look at the sky! So he looked at it, then he returned his glance and found it placed before him. In his looking at the sky, Asaf called by the Greatest Name for Allah to bring it, so it happened that it ran under the earth until it gushed out under the Throne of Sulayman "
Allah is Greater!! Strange stories!
First: is it that this one who had knowledge of the Book said to Sulayman: Look at the sky? There is no evidence or need that indicates ...
before your glance returns to you
[Al-Naml:40] in whatever glance you turned your eye to it.
Second: if we say that it came from the earth and gushed out from under the Throne! It is permissible that it came from the earth, it is permissible it came from above the earth, or it came from a very high place and descended ... all this should not be asserted with certainty, rather it is said: that Allah is able to do everything, the important thing is that the Throne was present in an instant before his glance returned to him.
And in his saying: "
And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him
[An-Naml 27:40]
that is, stationary "
this was difficult for the grammarians because they say from their rules: if the adverb or the preposition and its object are connected to a general meaning, then it must be omitted.
For example, you say: Zayd is in the house, it is not permissible to say: Zayd is existing in the house, rather it is obligatory to omit "existing" because it is general, but if it is specific like: Zayd is imprisoned in the house, it is obligatory to mention it, because if "imprisoned" is omitted, there is no indicator for it, unlike Zayd is in the house, for merely it becomes clear to the addressee that the meaning is existing in it or present in it.
So they say: if the preposition and its object are connected, or the adverb is connected to a general meaning, it is obligatory to omit it.
And here, is "settled" general or specific?
The student: Specific

The Shaykh : Let's see the word "settled" general, if you say: Zayd is in the house or settled in the house, it means: existing in it, and Ibn Malik says:
And inform by an adverb or a preposition
Intending the meaning of existing or settled
But they said: that the settling here is not the general settling that must be omitted, but it is a specific settling not absolute existence, so when it was a specific settling not absolute existence, it became like the specific meaning, and therefore it was mentioned
And when [Solomon] saw it placed
[An-Naml 27:40]
Notice, if he said: So when he saw it with him, it does not indicate the meaning in the word "settled", correct, when he saw it with him existing with him, but it does not indicate that this existence was with settling and stability.
And also, perhaps it is understood from his saying:
settled مُسْتَقِرًّا
what the jinn indicated in the first, which is strength and trustworthiness, because with strength and trustworthiness the Throne comes as it is, it does not break, the weak person for example, perhaps when carrying it and he is weak, it falls from his hand or something like that and it breaks, or if he is not trustworthy, he does not care that .... a mountain or a tree or something like that, or he himself tyrannizes over it. So the result: that this settling has a specific meaning other than the general settling, so it was mentioned.
"
And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This فَلَمَّا رَآهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِنْدَهُ قَالَ هَذَا
[An-Naml 27:40]
that is, bringing it to me
from the favor of my Lord
[An-Naml 27:40]
"
to the end of it. Yes
The student: ...
