If I do not agree with my father regarding my marriage for unconvincing reasons, such as financial hardship, future household expenses, and having many children, is it permissible to disobey him in this case?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : This questioner from Sudan mentions, and he says, O Virtuous One,The Shaykh : If I do not agree with my father regarding my marriage for unconvincing reasons, such as financial hardship, future household expenses, and having many children, is it permissible to disobey him in this case?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is permissible to disobey him if a person is in need of marriage, because marriage is one of the necessities of life by which a person protects his private parts and lowers his gaze.
So if his father prevents him from marrying and says, "Do not marry, because this will impose heavy financial burdens on you and occupy you with your family and children," he should not obey him, and it is not permissible for a father to prevent his son from marrying. Let him fear his Lord and remember himself when he was young: if someone had tried to prevent him from marrying, how would he have felt?
He would never have accepted that.
