Commentary on Tafsir al-Jalalayn: ((Like the conduct of the people of Noah, 'Ad, and Thamud, and those who came after them)) "Like" is a substitute for the "like" before it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
He says: "Like is a substitute for the like before it, meaning like the punishment for the custom of those who disbelieved before you, namely their punishment in this world" So "like the conduct" is like their custom, unless it is intended to be attached to the object, meaning like the custom that Allah inflicted upon them. But it appears the author attached it to the doer, and that it is on the assumption of "like the punishment of their custom," because the punishment is from Allah, and the custom is from these groups of tribes. The custom is the custom of the tribes, and the punishment is the punishment of Allah. So either we say the statement is on the assumption of "like the punishment of the custom of the people of Noah," and so on, or we say "like the conduct of the people of Noah," meaning like the custom that Allah did with them, and the meaning is the same. The intent is that he fears for them days like these, which are a punishment for those who lied to their messengers.
And Allah wants no injustice for [His] servants. وما الله يريد ظلما للعباد
[Ghafir 40:31]
Ma: A negative particle that functions like "laysa" when the conditions are complete, and the Divine Name is its subject, and he intends a sentence as its predicate. If it were a noun, the assumption would be: And Allah is not intending
And Allah wants no injustice for [His] servants. وما الله يريد ظلما للعباد
[Ghafir 40:31]
Injustice encompasses two things:
Either an increase in sins or a decrease in good deeds, and all of this is impossible with regard to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). It cannot happen from Him, nor can He intend it. Why? Because of the perfection of His justice.
