The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
All these hadiths indicate the content of what was mentioned previously regarding kindness to the weak, orphans, and daughters, and the like. In the first hadith of Aisha, the story is like her previous hadith that passed in yesterday's lesson, but what passed in yesterday's lesson was that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) gave her one date, so she cut it between her two daughters.
As for this one, she gave her three dates, so she gave one of the two girls one, and the other girl the other date, then she raised the third to her mouth to eat it, so they asked her for it: meaning that the two girls looked at the date that the mother had raised, and the mother did not eat it, so she cut it in half between them, so each girl ate one and a half dates, and the mother did not eat anything.
So she mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of what the woman had done, and he said:
That indicates that being gentle with children and showing mercy to them is among the causes of entering Paradise and being saved from the Fire -We ask Allah to record that for us and for you-.
And in the hadiths that follow, there is what indicates that the weak are a cause of victory and a cause of provision. If a person bends over them with compassion and gives them from what Allah the Mighty and Majestic has given him, that is a cause of victory over the enemies, and it is a cause of provision, because when a person spends in the cause of his Lord, Allah the Exalted replaces it for him. Allah the Exalted said:[Saba 34:39] meaning He brings its replacement and its substitute, [Al-Mu'minun 23:72] , and success is from Allah.
