The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter on the virtue of Jumu'ah, its obligation, taking a bath for it, applying perfume, hastening to it, making du'a' on Friday, sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on that day, explaining the hour of response, and the recommendation to increase the remembrance of Allah the Exalted after Jumu'ah:
"Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 854a Narrated by Muslim".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*, in the chapter on the virtue of Jumu'ah and what is related to it: Regarding what he transmitted from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:Sahih Muslim 854a : The meaning of this is: the best day of the days of the week. We say this so that it does not conflict with the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 854a , for the Day of 'Arafah is better in terms of the year, and this [Friday] is better in terms of the week. : And Adam is the father of mankind; Allah Mighty and Majestic created him with His Hand, creating him from dust, then He said to him: "Be," and he was. : It is the Garden of Refuge to which humans resort. Allah admitted him and his wife to Paradise and said: As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 65:6 : So Allah permitted them to eat from all the trees of Paradise whatever they wished, and forbade them from a specific tree as a test and trial. Satan whispered to them and lured them with deception, and he swore to them that if they ate from this tree, they would attain eternity and a kingdom that would not decay. He persisted with them until they ate from the tree. Allah the Exalted had placed a dignity on their private parts, but when they ate from the tree, their nakedness became apparent to them, and every person began to look at his private part: Adam looked at the private part of Hawwa, and Hawwa looked at his private part. They were exposed because they violated the sanctity of Allah Mighty and Majestic by eating from the tree. Allah the Exalted said regarding that: : When they ate from it, Allah Mighty and Majestic ordered them to descend to the earth, and He expelled them from Paradise, so they descended to the earth. This is from the wisdom of Allah Mighty and Majestic, for had it not been for that, this humanity and this creation would not have existed, and this trial would not have occurred. But Allah the Exalted, by His wisdom, decreed a cause for every thing. So look how he descended from the high Paradise to the low earth with a single sin?! What about us, who have many sins night and day—may Allah treat us and you with His forgiveness—yet we still hope for a hope that is nothing but illusion and delusion in reality. We hope that we are in the highest ranks, even though we are descending due to the abundance of sins and negligence of obligations, and what is in our hearts of hatred, enmity, and aversion. So we ask Allah to accept our repentance and yours, and to rectify our hearts and your hearts.
And regarding this Paradise from which Adam was expelled, there is a difference of opinion: is it the Garden of Refuge, or is it a great garden on a pleasant, airy, water-rich elevation?
And the correct view is that it is the Garden of Eternity. In this regard, Ibn al-Qayyim says:
"So hasten to the Gardens of 'Adn, for they *** Are your first dwellings, and therein is the encampment"
And Allah is Able to do all things. So this is the virtue of the day of Jumu'ah: in it Adam was created, in it he was admitted to Paradise, and in it he was expelled from it. Both are wisdom: the creation of Adam is wisdom, his admission to Paradise is wisdom, and his descent to the earth due to sin is wisdom. But know that Adam repented to Allah, he and his wife:[Al-A'raf 7:23] , Allah the Exalted said: [Taha 20:122] : So after the repentance, he was better than he was before the repentance. And success is from Allah.
