If a man intends to have intercourse with his wife while being certain that she is pregnant, should he recite the supplication for intercourse?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If one of you intends to have intercourse with his wife, and the man says, "I am certain that she is pregnant," meaning the wife is pregnant now?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : So is it said: this is an act of worship, or is it said: it is not obligatory?

The Shaykh : The apparent implication of the reasoning is:
If it is decreed فإنه إن يقدر
It implies that he should not say it if she is pregnant, because the child has already been decreed and expected. However, it is better that he say it, because Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Intercourse with a pregnant woman increases the hearing and sight of the fetus".
