It is obligatory to advise your father and inform him that it is not permissible to hang amulets, nor to hang anything that Allah has forbidden , nor to hang verses; because these are among the amulets, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:, so it is not permissible to hang charms on a sick person or on children, whether from amulets, or from beads and cowries, or from Qur'anic verses, or anything else.
It is obligatory for the believer to use what Allah has prescribed of the lawful supplications for protection, such as:Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani), such as: Sunan Ibn Majah 3869, and if the child is small, his family—his mother and father—should seek protection for him, saying to him when he sleeps: .
As for hanging amulets on children or on the sick, this is not permissible; because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited it. Likewise, hanging talismans and things that are not known is not permissible. It is not permissible for your father to do that, and you are not to obey him in what Allah has forbidden; rather, obedience is only in what is right. We ask Allah for guidance for everyone.
