The ruling on a pregnant or nursing woman breaking her fast if she fears for her children

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q290: The questioner asks: What is the ruling on a pregnant or nursing woman breaking her fast if she fears for her children?
A290: If a pregnant woman breaks her fast for the sake of her health, because she is unable to fast or it is difficult for her, then she only has to make up the missed days. However, if she breaks her fast for the sake of the pregnancy or for the needs of the nursing infant, then she has to make up the missed days and feed one poor person for each day she broke her fast, or poor people equal to the number of days.
