Q 2: When I learned of the incident that happened to my father and led to his death, I asked my mother and said: Why, O mother, did you neglect your father? I was asking with my heart full of anger. She said: Do not burn my heart, my son; the matter is decreed by Allah, Exalted and Majestic. Is there any sin on me for this?
A 2: It is obligatory for you to strive to treat your mother with good treatment and to seek her forgiveness for the words that came from you toward her, which were your accusation of her with neglect. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
