Q1: I performed Hajj for my father before I performed it for my mother, and some scholars say: it is not permissible to perform Hajj for one's father before one's mother. I ask you to issue a ruling, O honorable Shaykh, is my Hajj for my father before my mother valid or not? And what should I do? Please issue a ruling, may Allah reward you.
A1: The mother is prioritized in dutifulness over the father; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was asked:Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 5 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) prioritized her over all other relatives, and he repeated her mention three times, but
if the Hajj has already been performed by you on behalf of your father first, then the Hajj is valid, provided that its conditions are met and its impediments are absent. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

من أحق الناس بحسن صحابتي؟ فقال: أمك قال: ثم من؟ قـال: أمك قال: ثم من؟ قال: أمك قـال: ثـم من؟ قـال: أبوكif the Hajj has already been performed by you on behalf of your father first, then the Hajj is valid, provided that its conditions are met and its impediments are absent.
