Q3: I heard one of them say: He places his hand over his mouth so that Satan does not enter his stomach, and he attributed this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: It is reported in (Sahih Muslim ). Is this correct?
A3: It is recommended for one who is overcome by a yawn to suppress it as much as he can, and to place his hand over his mouth, as in the hadith where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 2995c Narrated by Muslim, and in another wording: . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

إذا تثاءب أحدكم في الصلاة فليكظم ما استطاع، فإن الشيطان يدخل في فيهLet him place his hand over his mouth and not say "Hah," for Satan laughs at him
فليضع يده على فمه ولا يقل: هاه، فإن الشيطان يضحك منه
