Q3: What is the ruling on addressing a woman who is in mourning after the death of her husband, to her husband’s relatives, from behind a veil?
A3: There is nothing wrong with the woman in mourning speaking to men if she needs to, whether they are her relatives or others, by telephone or otherwise, provided that she is covered from non-mahram men. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
