Marriage of Cousins’ Daughters When the Father Marries Their Mother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 336 )
Q: I have two cousins, each of whom is married. One of them was blessed with three daughters and a son, and the other was blessed with five children. The father of the three daughters and the son died, and after that, his brother married his wife and was blessed with two daughters and two sons from her. Do his previous daughters become permissible for his previous sons?
A: If the matter is as you described, then each of the five previous sons
has the right to marry any of his three previous cousins, provided there is no other impediment such as milk kinship or the like. The mere fact that the father of the five sons married the mother of these three girls is not an impediment to their marriage to them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
