The first man, who is the husband of the mother of the deceased son, has a son and two daughters. The first man, who is the husband of the mother of the son, divorced the mother of the son and wants to marry the wife of the son. Is this permissible in the Shari'ah?
A: If the situation is as described, it is permissible for the man to marry the wife of his son from another man after the son’s death or after he divorced her, even if the mother of that son is still in his marriage. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
