The child of fornication, if the man who fornicated with his mother claims him as his son, is not attributed to him and does not inherit from him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa number ( 16988 )
Q2: What is the ruling on the child of fornication through confession? Does he inherit or not? Meaning: A man fornicated with a woman and she became pregnant, and this man confessed that he was the one who did it,
so does this child inherit from him or not?

A2: If the child of fornication is claimed by a man who fornicated with his mother as his son, he is not attributed to him, but rather he is attributed to his mother; due to the hadith of A'ishah regarding the story of 'Abd ibn Zam'ah and others, and because he is a child born without a lawful marriage or a suspicion of marriage, so it is not permissible for him to be attributed to him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
