Breaking the fast for a worker whose work exhausts him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 4157 )
Q: I heard a preacher from among the imams of the mosques, on the second Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, permit breaking the fast for a worker whose work exhausts him and who has no source of income other than this work, to feed a poor person for each day of Ramadan, even if it is in cash, fifteen dirhams. This is what prompted me to write this letter. Is there valid evidence for this from the Book and the Sunnah?
A: It is not permissible for a person of legal age to break his fast during the day of Ramadan merely because he is a worker. However, if he is afflicted with severe hardship that compels him to break his fast during the day, he should break his fast to the extent that removes the hardship, then abstain until sunset, break his fast with the people, and make up the day on which he broke his fast. The fatwa you mentioned is not correct. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
