What is the ability to perform Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 845 )
Q5: Why does Algeria start fasting one day before Morocco every year, what is the ability regarding Hajj, is its reward greater with Allah when one heads to Makkah al-Mukarramah or after returning from it, and is its reward with Allah greater if one returns from it to his homeland or to here where his work is first?
A5: As for the reality of the matter regarding the question asked about Algeria preceding Morocco in fasting Ramadan by one day every year, this should be referred to the responsible authorities in the two countries so that the answer is based on the reality of the two countries, as they are more knowledgeable about it. So, direct this question to them after confirming the continuity of this precedence every year as mentioned by the questioner. As for the ability regarding Hajj: it is that one is sound in body, and that one possesses the means of transportation to reach the House of Allah al-Haram , whether by plane, car, mount, or hired transport, according to one's condition. And that one possesses provisions sufficient for the journey there and back, provided that this is in addition to the maintenance of those whose maintenance is obligatory upon him until he returns from his Hajj. And that a woman must have a husband or a mahram with her in her journey for Hajj or 'Umrah. As for the reward of his Hajj, it is according to his sincerity to Allah, the rites he performed, what he avoided that contradicts the perfection of his Hajj, and what he spent of wealth
and the effort he bore, whether he returned, stayed, or died before the completion of his Hajj, or after it. And Allah knows his state best, and He is the One who handles his recompense. And the one who is obligated must act and judge his action, and he must ensure its conformity with the Islamic Shari'ah, outwardly and inwardly, as if he sees his Lord. For even if he does not see Him, Allah sees him and is aware of him. And he should not inquire into what belongs to Allah, for He, the Exalted, is Merciful to His servants, multiplies their good deeds, and forgives their evil deeds. And your Lord does not wrong anyone. So, attend to yourself and leave what belongs to Allah to Allah, the Just Judge, the Compassionate, the Merciful. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
