Q5: If a person arrives and the prayer has been called for and he is not in a state of ablution, is it permissible for him to perform dry ablution to catch the prayer in congregation?
A5: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: It is not permissible for him to perform dry ablution to catch the congregation; rather, it is obligatory for him to purify himself with water, even if he misses the congregation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
