A woman who broke her fast in Ramadan in her first year of reaching puberty because she was ignorant of the ruling. ?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman asks and says: My age now is over thirty, and the first year that fasting became obligatory for me, I was fifteen years old, but I was ignorant. Menstruation appeared for me in the middle of the month, and she says: Allah knows that I was ignorant, so what is required of me now for those days?

The Shaykh : Yes, meaning she left off fasting for half a month.

The questioner : Or did she fast while menstruating?

The Shaykh : In any case, what we understood from the question is that in her first year she did not fast. If she was far from knowledge, like a woman who grew up in a desert area, and there was no scholar there to ask, and they were unaware of this matter, then she owes nothing, because the Shari'ah did not reach her.
As for if she was in a town and had scholars available, but she was negligent and careless, then she has to make up the days she did not fast, and she is not required to do more than making them up, meaning she is not required to pay a ransom or an expiation. Yes.
