Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Hunaad ibn al-Sari narrated to us, both saying: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Masruq from Salama ibn Kahil from Abu Rushd, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas, who said:
I spent the night at my aunt Maymunah's house بت عند خالتي ميمونة
and the hadith was abridged, and the washing of the face and hands was not mentioned, except that he said:
Then he went to the water jar, untied its straps, and performed wudu' that was between the two wudu's. Then he went to his bed and slept. Then he rose up again, went to the water jar, untied its straps, and performed wudu' which was the wudu', and he said: "Make my light greater" ثم أتى القربة فحل شناقها فتوضأ وضوءا بين الوضوئين ثم أتى فراشه فنام ثم قام قومة أخرى فأتى القربة فحل شناقها ثم توضأ وضوءا هو الوضوء وقال: أعظم لي نورا
and "Make me a light" was not mentioned.
