How did Abu Bakr say, "No, he will not give it," when the one giving it is the Messenger of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The statement of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq...

The Shaykh : No, this is of the kind of swearing by Allah. Swearing by Allah is sometimes disapproved of and sometimes approved of. The man who said, "By Allah, Allah will not forgive so-and-so," Allah disapproved of that for him. And Anas ibn al-Nadr said, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, do not break the front tooth of al-Rabi'." The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) praised him. He said:
Indeed, among the servants of Allah are some who swear by Allah, and He will surely fulfill it for them. إن من عباد الله من أقسم على الله لأبره
So Abu Bakr did not intend to object to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and far be it from him to do so, but rather the strength of his hope carried him to that. The strength of his hope in the Messenger of Allah, and he knew that the Messenger would agree, or it was predominant in his opinion that he would agree. Yes.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Meaning, he wrote it and clarified that it is abrogated, but he did not... rule based on his knowledge.
