That he divorced his wife while she was menstruating, so Umar asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about that, and he said: "Tell him to take her back until she becomes pure, then let her menstruate another period, then let her become pure, then let him divorce her after that, or let him keep her."

أنه طلق امرأته وهى حائض فسأل عمر عن ذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: مره فليراجعها حتى تطهر ثم تحيض حيضة أخرى ثم تطهر ثم يطلق بعد أو يمسك
