Ruling on leaving fasting due to the hardships of work

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received for the program from one of the listeners who says: I fast Ramadan in my country, and praise be to Allah, but because of the amount of work and its difficulty, I face exhaustion. So, is there anything required of me? Or should I leave the work and start fasting? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
You must fast as Allah has commanded, and you must leave the work that harms you. Do what you are able to do and complete your fasting. If the work is ten hours and it is difficult for you, make it six hours, seven hours, or five hours so that you can fast. Do not do work that harms you or causes you to break your fast, because Allah has made fasting obligatory upon you, and you are healthy and sound, not sick and not traveling. So, it is obligatory for you to fast and to leave the work that exhausts you, tires you, and harms you, or to lighten it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
