Is it a sin to strike a wailing woman if she does not stop?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: The mother of the deceased slapped her cheeks, screamed loudly, and uncovered her face and the hair of her head in front of some non-mahram male relatives. I tried to remind her of Allah, but to no avail, so I struck her on her hands because she angered Allah the Exalted. Is there a sin on me for that?

Answer:
She must repent to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He); it is upon her to repent. And you, if Allah wills, have done well in the sense of discipline, in the sense of forbidding evil. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He is not one of us (one among the Ummah of Islam) who beat the cheeks or tore the front opening of the shirt or uttered the slogans of (the days of) Jahiliya (ignorance).ليس منا من ضرب الخدود، أو شق الجيوب، أو دعا بدعوى الجاهلية
Sahih Muslim 103a
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I have no concern with one with whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has no concern, Verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has no concern with that woman who wails loudly, shaves her hair and tears (her garment in grief).أنا بريء من الصالقة، والحالقة، والشاقة
Sahih Muslim 104a
The wailerالصالقة
the one who raises her voice at a calamity, and
The shaverالحالقة
the one who shaves her hair at a calamity, and
The tearerالشاقة
the one who tears her garment at a calamity.
It is obligatory to be patient, to seek reward from Allah, and to refrain from engaging in what Allah has forbidden, such as slapping the cheek, tearing the garment, plucking hair, or other such sins. We ask Allah to grant her repentance and to heal her loss. Yes.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
