The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16026 )
Q2: If one performs 'Umrah on a Friday of any month and intends to go to another region, and then returns to Makkah after two or three days and intends to perform a second 'Umrah, is it permissible to perform 'Umrah without wearing the ihram garments?
A2: Whoever intends to perform 'Umrah must enter the state of ihram from the miqat he passes through on his way to Makkah , and it is not permissible for him to pass it without being in ihram; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) designated these miqats for entering ihram from them for those who intend Hajj or 'Umrah, whether it is for the first time or for a second 'Umrah or more. As for one who is inside the miqats, he enters ihram from the place where he forms the intention for 'Umrah, unless he is in Makkah , in which case he must go out to the halal area to enter ihram for 'Umrah, as 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) did by the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
