Her mother is of unsound mind and causes him distress

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 8907 )
Q 2: My mother was old and senile, with a deficiency in her reasoning and she was afraid; she would not sit in the room alone. I placed her in a room and installed a barrier on the door. She is unable to stand up, and if I left her, she would make a mess in the entire room. She would say, "Let me out of the room." I kept it that way for a period, and then I removed the barrier, but her annoyance of us increased, to the point that at night she would not let us sleep. She bothers me greatly, and I would say to her, "Be quiet, or I will get up and leave you alone." She would calm down when I said this to her. Then I brought her a neurologist, who examined her and prescribed treatment. She calmed down somewhat, but it may have affected her and increased her weakness in her condition. So I stopped the treatment for her, and that lasted for two months or so. Then a fever illness struck her, and she passed away, may Allah have mercy on her. O Shaykh, I feel that my heart is not at ease regarding the treatment, and regarding the fact that I would say to her, "Be quiet, or I will get up and leave you alone," because she would disturb me and not let me sleep. I am a person who works during the day, and if I stayed up late,
I would not be able to perform my work as required. Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good for us and for the Muslims.

A 2: If the situation is as described, then you owe nothing for the treatment you gave her or the words you said to her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
