Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : We are brothers and we received a university education, and our father was alive, except for our youngest brother, who was in high school at the time of our father’s passing, may Allah have mercy on him. So, are his study expenses to be paid from his legal inheritance or not?

The Shaykh : The study expenses of this young man, just like his food, drink, clothing, and marriage expenses, are to be paid from his own wealth, whether it is wealth he had previously or his share in his father’s inheritance.
However, if it is assumed that he has nothing and his father left nothing behind, then his expenses are to be paid by the relatives who are obligated to provide for him.
